In the age of the internet, YouTube, and library books, many people still ask why taking an in-person class is still important?
If you ever had the thought “I can learn from …” – insert whatever medium you have available, you will instantly know that even the best of them are just that – mediums. And I am saying that as a person who loves to watch YouTube videos!
So why then? The answer is simple… despite the love of the internet, people still prefer in-person interaction. During the first class we teach you the in’s and out’s of how to do basic stitches while giving you advice on how to avoid common pitfalls for mistakes. The biggest reason to do an in-person class with us, is the encouragement that we deliver! You can’t get that from a computer screen. Also, our students have commented on how patient and supportive we are.
We inherently enjoy teaching and we love when our students start planning their new projects on their own! Nothing brings more joy than receiving a picture of a finished projects sent to us by our students. This hat was knitted in 2 classes by one of our current students! Congratulations!
